The General Customs Directory announced that they have reached the
highest historic result in income collection, realizing their plan at
129%.
“During December 2013, the Customs administration has collected 4.2 billion ALL, or 40 million ALL more than in December 2012. During the trimester October-November-December 2013, the Albanian customs collected 60 million USD more than the same period of 2012”, declared Elisa Spiropali, General Customs Director.
Spiropali declared that the positive trend is not by chance, but it is related to the fight against evasion and by cutting corruptive connections.
