The law for not using plastic bags is not being implemented properly. The government has decided to discuss a draft-law which foresees fines from 30.000 to 100.000 for users of uncontrolled plastic bags.
Shop owners and businessmen will be fined even higher, from 1 million ALL to 1.5 million.
The legal amends will enter into effect the next year, but they should be followed by other sub-legal acts.

For citizens, it is almost impossible to understand whether plastic bags are within the required standards, but the government has decided that the law amends will take the usage down.
