High-level cooperation Task Force for the “Force of Law” operation

The Central Inter-Institutional Task Force gathered this Wednesday for the action plan against organized crime, called “Force of Law”.

The Prosecutor General, Arta Marku; Justice Minister, Etilda Gjonaj; Minister of Finances and Economy, Arben Ahmetaj; vice Director of the Secret Service, Helidon Bendo; General Chief of Police, Rebani Jaupaj and the Head of the Information Service for Internal Matters, Eduard Merkaj, agreed to improve the normative act that facilitates this cooperation.

The Minister of Interior, Fatmir Xhafaj, updated the members of the Central Interinstitutional Task Force with the progress during December 2017.

The parties discussed on their institutional roles and responsibilities, the coordination of the process, and guaranteeing further support for the Task Force in a central and regional level, as special structures with operational responsibility.

They agreed about the support that each of them will give to the process through the law-enforcing agencies.
