Health Minister: “Slandering on my name will not stop reforms”

Health Minister Ilir beqaj answered to the Democratic Party regarding a
company the DP says was founded by the Minster and that has profited
from tenders. Beqaj said he has interrupted relations with the company,
and that the slanders against him would not stop the health reform.
“”We are establishing new bases for the national health service. The slander against me will not stop the reform, which is a necessary condition. I truly was one of the founders and share holders of that company, but I have interrupted any cooperation and I sold my shares from the day I became Minister. I didn’t give my shares up to any relative, but I sold them regularly. This explanation was not owed by me to the DP, who are aiming for political revenges. I owed it to the public”, the Health Minsiter declared.
He said that the company he founded had its best days when the Democratic Party was in power.
