Health Minister: Businesses outside hospital territories

The Health Ministry has started an action for removing from hospital
territories all business objects that have no relation to the hospital
service.
Speaking for the media, the Health Minister, Ilir Beqja, underlined that the Ministry will start the implementation of the measure plan that will return the Tirana University Hospital Center to patients and doctors.
“We are implementing the measure plan that we have undertaken to free the hospital premises in function of health, and allow doctors to continue with their duty. There are several non-hospital activities that should be removed. There’s a master plan built with valid international expertise and that is what we will implement. We want the understanding of those who continue these activities. This is an uncontrolled territory that is being used as a parking by residents, and we will return it to the Tirana University Hospital Center”, Beqaj declared.
The Minister also promised to give a solution to the lack of medicine issue, regardless of the difficult financial situation of the Hospital Center.
