The Head of the Rrethine Commune, Klevis Muja, has been attacked in the prison premises and has received serious head damages.
According to recent information, Muja was hit with strong instruments on his head and was transported to the Military Hospital.
Sources say that the 38-year-old is at very serious conditions, with heavy brain damages.
Muja was sent at the Shenkoll Prison after he was arrested by the Italian justice, which accuses him of drug traffic.
The name of the Head of the Rrethine Commune was sent to the Albanian Police by the Italian Authorities.
Most of these defendants wanted by the Italian authorities are accused of drug traffic, prostitution and theft. Klevis Muja is the second local administration commission that is wanted by the Italian Justice.
The first public name was that of Fatmir Kajolli, e Republican Member of the Fier District. Kajolli has been sentenced by the Italian justice with 24 years to prison.
