The Head of the Qender Commune in Vlore, Alfred Berberi, was wounded after an explosive blew up in his vehicle.
His was driving his SUV in Vlore’s downtown when the charge blew up. The vehicle kept moving after the explosion and stopped only after it hit some parked vehicles.
Passerby citizens rushed to help him get out of the semi-destroyed vehicle, and now the Qender Commune is hospitalized. Police blocked the area and gathered evidence.
Suspicions are that the explosive was triggered remotely, while investigations are undergoing.
