Eurojust supports the EU countries in their fight against organized crime and for integrated border management.
Eurojust is a prestigious EU agency with more than 100 prosecutors from European countries, with its headquarters in Hague.
The meeting of the President of the High Council of the Prosecution was made as part of the presentation of the judiciary reform, and the creation of the new institutions: Special Prosecution Against Corruption and the National Bureau of Investigation.
The leader of the HCP, Gent Ibrahimi, promised maximal commitment for the permanent representation in Eurojust, and closer cooperation with the European partners in an operational and information exchange level.
“we have signed the agreement in cooperation with Eurojust and we will appoint a Prosecutor very soon. Eurojust will cooperate with SPAK and NBI in international operations for the fight against corruption and organized crime”, he said.
