Before a Judge is finally considered for a post at the highest courts, they should go through the second phase of the Vetting Process, which is the Independent College of Qualification.

One of these important institutions, created by the new judiciary reform, are the High Councils of the Judiciary and High Council of the Prosecution. They have not been established yet, since the candidates should go through the vetting process first.

Judges who fail the first phase of the vetting process can appeal the decision at the Special Commission of Appeal, but the Supreme Court didn’t wait for the results of their appeals. The Supreme Court has already made the list of the candidates who will run for the new High Council of the Judiciary, although some of those in the initial list are expecting the results of their appeal. The new list has only nine candidates, from 14 that there were in the first list.
