The High Council of Justice delegated the duty of the President of Court
of Appeals to Alaudin Malaj, until the end of the procedures for the
new leader of this Court.

Saraci ended his mandate as President of the second most important Court in the country.

Based on the serious event that happened last week with the theft of evidence in the Evidence Room of the Court of Serious Crimes, Etleva Dode’s duty as President of this Court was revoked.

The Minister of Justice, Eduard Halimi, withdrew his request for disciplinary prosecution, and this duty was temporarily given to Judge Sander Simoni.

Crime experts declared that the fingerprints in the Evidence Room did not belong to the Court staff.

The scandal might receive bigger proportions, because investigators suspect that other evidence might have been stolen too.
