The Albanian Prime Minsiter, Edi Rama, announced that there will be amendments of the criminal code.
The government orders harsher sanctions for food producers who abuse with dangerous hormones and banned chemicals.
The Prime Minister said that the sanctions will include banning of the business activity and even prison sentence.
The prison sentence are expected to go up to 10 years.
