The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, and the Prime Minister, Edi Rama, were involved today in a series of remarks about the Covid19 situation that the country.

“The number of patients with Covid-19 is increasing daily, fatalities are increasing and health capacities are heading towards collapse. Rama has lost control of the pandemic, although the second wave was warned. Instead of vain talk, today more than ever we need quick decisions and actions to increase testing and funding to help the sick, health and the economy. Nothing is more precious than human life!”, stated DP head Lulzim Basha.

Through Twitter prime minister Rama gave this response.

“Basha is holding on to Covid as the drowning man on a blade of grass. He claims that he would have stopped the second wave, while he cannot even  stop his ally in its campaign”, PM Rama said, referring to the chairwoman of the SMI, Monika Kryemadhi.

Lulzim Basha continued the debate with Rama by addressing some requests.

“Increase the tests, reimburse the medicines for the patients at home, increase the medical capacities. Stop stealing money and give it to the Albanians who need help today and not talk in vain. Nothing is worth more than human life! The situation is deteriorating. Because of Rama, people wait for days to be tested, they have no money for medicines and they stay home sick.”

The last answer of this political ping-pong came from Edi Rama.

“According to Lulëzim, garbage should raise in piles on every street in Tirana so that people are not affected by Covid and can be cured! No Lulzim, the garbage will not return to Tirana, nor does the opposition return to the government “, added Rama, referring to the issue of new incinerators.
