The absence of a Law for the Government and the constitutional vacancy has created uncertainties in Kosovo about the role of the Prime Minister, after his resignation.

The current law says that if the Prime Minister resigns, the government is dispersed and the President, after consulting the political parties of the majority, will mandate the next Prime Minister.

Members from the Civil Society say that after the resignation, the Prime Minister and his Ministers should no longer go back to their offices.
