The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, traveled today to the USA, where he was invited by the Albanian Catholic Community in Detroit, to attend the 108th anniversary of the Highland Rebellion.
Haradinaj will meet with representatives of the “Saint Paul” community of Albanain Catholics in Detroit, and with other US officials.
This is Haradinaj’s first trip to the USA, since his decision to impose a 100% tax on Serbian goods, last November.
The Prime Minister couldn’t attend the Morning Prayer this January, although he was invited for the event. He said that he couldn’t travel due to the tensions created by the tax, but that he could probably travel later.
