The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, commemorated the National hero of the Albanian People, Skanderbeg, on the anniversary of his death.
For Haradinaj, Skanderbeg was the Albanian general who challenged the superpowers of the time, and turned into an inspiration for every Albanian.
“On January 17th, 1468, the heart of the founding father of Albania stopped beating.
“The prince of all Albanians, the general who challenged the superpowers of his time, has always been an inspiration for anyone who feels Albanian.
“His acts have always sparked the desire for freedom and encouraged revolutions. Eternal glory”, Haradinaj wrote.
