The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, visited an apartment building in Tirana, built during the communist area and that was reconstructed thanks to funds collected by the community, through the municipality’s project that covers half of the cost.
“I am very proud for the residents of this apartment building. Tirana has 5000 apartment buildings and one might ask why am I visiting exactly this. If we don’t create a model, we won’t be able to spread the positive results. This means that with the cooperation of 22 families, we could turn old buildings into ones with great standards and a higher price”, the Mayor declared.
But before getting half of the funds from the municipality, the apartment buildings must chose one administrator, who will make the application.
