The Greek President, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, met with his Israeli counterpart, Reuven Revlin, asking his support in the relations with Turkey, Macedonia and Albania.
Pavolopoulos reiterated that Greece supports Albania’s European perspective, but it depends on the full implementation of the International and European Rights, especially as regards basic human rights for minorities and property ownership.
As for the name issue with Macedonia, the Greek President declared that as long as there are examples of irredentism in Skopje, it will be impossible for them to become part of NATO and EU.
