In a meeting with the Athens Chamber of Commerce, which has 2700 Albanians as members, MP Andreas Loverdos condemned the killing of the 35-year-old Katsifa in Albania and the cases of violence that have erupted against Albanians in Greece.
“A few days ago a man died in Albania. We don’t want to see such things happen again. We condemn the cases of violence, from wherever they may come. But we want justice. The family must be helped to find out the truth. We must condemn the acts of violence that took place in Greece, such as the threats, the burnings of businesses and of the flag. These are the mechanisms of the high integration of your immigrants here. You are welcome and necessary, an added value for us. If a Greek has problems, these problems are even higher for foreigners”, the Greek MP said.
