The leader of the Greek Conservatory party, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, sent a letter to the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Johannes Hahn, expressing concern about the situation of the Greek minority in Albania.
According to the leader of the “New Democracy”, the Albanian institutions are engaged into violating the human rights of the Greek minority, by involving an unnecessary large number of police forces to demolish buildings that belong to members of the Greek minority.
Mitsotakis said that Greece has agreed for Albania’s EU course so that their neighbor can progress towards democratic reforms, by respecting national minorities and by fighting crime and corruption
