Greece responded to the appeals of the Albanian authorities and sent humanitarian aid to Tirana, for easing the situation of the people damaged by the earthquakes and the floods that hit Albania recently.
The Greek humanitarian assistance is part of the European Civilian Defense Mechanism, which coordinates the collective European confrontation of natural disasters.
On Sunday, September 29th, 2019, the Greek military transportation airplane will arrive with generators, food, medicaments, tents, beds, blankets, and other necessary materials.
