The Greek Interim Foreign Minister, Jorgos Kastrougkalos, declared that the recent changes in the Albanian government have left the agreement with Albanian behind, which, according to him, had been progressing very well.

“We expected to conclude the good progress on October 28th, which was the commemoration of Italian-Greek War martyrs, but that’s when Katsifa’s sad event took place”, he declared.

“Since then, the climate of our relations was colder, for reasons that according to me are related to the interior policy of our neighbours”, Katrougkalos declared, adding that their efforts are being done to bring the discussion level back to where it was, underlining that Athens is in favour of the European perspective of all Western Balkan countries.
