The Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Kotzias, declared that he appealed the EU countries that have doubts about Albania’s and Macedonia’s EU accession negotiations to understand that the problems in these two countries can be better resolved if the process is started.

He made these declarations in an interview for EURACTIV. When asked about the maritime border agreement, Kotzias said that when taking his duty as Foreign Minister he found 100-year-old problems with Albania, such as the War Law.

“We are both NATO members and we have a friendship pact, but officially there is a War Law on. We have included these problems in a package. Some smaller issues were resolved. Now we have bigger ones undergoing”, he declared.
