The Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Kotzias, declared that Greece will
make a package of propositions to resolve the problems with Albania. He
gave this interview at the Saint Anthony College of the Oxford
University, at the annual speech of SEESOX.

“Greece and Albania are connected with a rich past, joint dreams and perspectives. There are problems from the past, like the refusal of the international rights, the violation of the rights of the autochthonous Greek minority. We have the desire to resolve the problems and leave the difficulties behind. We are planning to propose a package of solutions for all problems, for the interest of both countries”, declared the Foreign Greek Minister, Kotzias.

According to him, Greece has welcomed more Albanians than any other country in the world.

“A big percentage of the GDP of their country comes from them. We are lucky to have them as part of our society. The children of the Albanian immigrants are among our best students every year and recently we passed a law that gives them citizenship. Our government is among the friendliest in the world as regards immigrants”.
