Greek crisis has deeply affected the Albanian economy. Its danger keeps
being evident and puts the economies of the entire region in danger.
This is the conclusion of an open political debate organized in Athens under the care of the Federation of Albanian Associations in Greece. Present in this debate was the economist Anastas Angjeli.
According to him, the Greek crisis has affected the Albanian economy too, since this country has thousands of Albanian emigrants.
Angjeli refers to the drastic plunge of remittances in the last years. He says that now it is necessary to have a national strategy to confront the consequences of the crisis, and to have the economy confront them effectively. Angjeli says that the government that will come of the June 23rd elections must have already prepared an economic reform with clear objectives for the crisis.
“I believe that the essential think here was not discussing the Greek crisis, but its consequences in the Albanian economy. Many valuable opinions were given about the way how commercial exchanges are affected in the job and banking market in Albania”, Angjeli declared.
The meeting was greeted also by Greek politicians who were present in the room. After this, Anastas Angjeli promoted his book, “Nen ethet e krizes” (Under the crisis fever).
