The Governor of the Bank of Albania, Gent Sejko, declared this Wednesday
that the Albanian banking system has not been exposed to the Greek
crisis.
“The Greek capital in Albania is 15% of the total. It has been reduced compared to the years before that. The Albanian banking system enjoys a full financial health. The situation is showing that our system is not exposed to the Greek crisis”, Sejko declared.
The Governor underlined that the right measures have been taken for banks with Greek capital: “We have limited any kind of transfer of the capital of these banks”.
