The governments had issued an order to reduce the income taxes for companies by 3% what they donate to assist the earthquake victims.
This means that if a company donates 1 million EUR, the government will make them a reduction of 150.000 in taxes.
However, this goes only for businesses that start donating from now on, not for those who have already donated.
The PM reiterated the appeal that all donations should be channeled to the government fund, which will be the only one offering transparency and avoiding abuses.
