Government values Bank of Albania report. ahmetaj: Proves recovery

“With the limiting of the deficit and the increased loans, with the reduction of bad loans, the growth of public and foreign investments, I am certain that Albania has taken the right turnt o leave the economic crisis that was structural and also due to political and economic mismanagement”, Ahmetaj declared.

Together with the Stability Report, the Bank of Albania published an observation on the financial situation of families, which, according to them, has deteriorated in the second semester. The opposition commented this as an indicator of the crisis, but the Minister of Economy sees it differently.

“This is a poll realized with 883 families, not a statistic. However, to take in consideration what is said by the opposition regarding the family finances, the observation says that there is a tendency for moving it to a higher level of spending. The spending have a positive expectancy for what is to come”. Ahmetaj added.

Ahmetaj says there is another statistic indicator that shows the improved family budgets.

“I can underline the employment figures for the past year, with more than 83.000 new jobs. This doesn’t mean that the siguation is good, but it has improved”, Ahmetaj declared.

The government expects the GDP to increase with 3% this year, after the 1.9% of the last year.
