The majority appealed once again to the opposition for unconditioned
dialogue about the Normative Act that aims to postpone the Civil
Employee law.
Minister Milena Harito, in a declaration from the Prime Ministry, declared that the opposition’s stance only closes a door of dialogue.
“If the opposition thinks that the law is applicable, they can sit and give their arguments. If the opposition says that the law is not applicable, but the government should do nothing, should come and hear our arguments. I want to remind them that we have the consensual majority with 84 votes and we will be forced to put it into motion. But we think that there is still time until Thursday for more cooperation and discussion”, Harito declared.
However, the majority is decided to vote the Normative Act in this Thursday’s parliamentary session. Top Channel asked the Minister for Parliamentary Relations, Ilirian Celibashi.
Top Channel: What will the government do about the Normative Act, now that the opposition is against it?
Celibashi: It’s on the Parliament’s agenda and the procedure will continue.
Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, gave a more careful answer: “Everything will go according to the predictions”, Meta declared.
