Government reviews investment budget

“We will invest and we will control companies so that they can work day and night to realize those investments”, Rama declared.

Rama declared  that there are 32 million USD that allow us to reduce the deficit and the public debt, with the help of the IMF.

“152 million Usd will go for investments, mostly for roads and infrastructure, starting from Valbona, the Kukes-Krume in Has, the Lushnje Berat, the Lin-Pogradec, and all 51 projects left in half. We are talking about road infrastructures that had 50% of the funds and now will take 100%. We will check companies so that they can work day and night to realize those investments”, Rama declared.

As for 100 other projects that have been considered by Rama as hopeless, the Prime Minister explained how from 4.3 billion, 3.2 will go for the disabled, 1.1 for the health sector, such as the purchase of two ambulances and dialysis equipments that will be installed one in northern Albania and one in south.

700 million ALL will be used for modernizing the education system, by passing to digital books thanks to an agreement with Google.

300 million will be used for police vehicles and 450 million for territory photographs from air.  On the verge of the Pope’s visit to Tirana, the Prime Minister gave good news for the Muslim believers, that of the expropriation of the land where the new Tirana mosque will be built.

“We will keep our promise and we will build a new mosque, without any supermarket or apartment building close to it. The park will belong to believers. We will fund the part that remains, for closing these works that have taken very long, since the time of the big Bektashi tekke”, Rama declared.
