The Albanian government continued moving state owned properties in its
last meetings. Although on its last days, the government changed the
destination of another property by order of the Interior Minister.
8000 square meters of land near the artificial lake of Tirana are removed from the National Guard ownership.
The training area will now turn into a private property.
After the government’s decision, the Interior Minister Flamur Noka established a working group for identifying the surface on terrain and handed over the property to the legal owners, based on the decision of the Council of Ministers.
Other properties are waiting to be returned, but the government did not take any action for eight years, and left everything for the last days.
And even this action was based on double standards. Some properties returned to the rightful owners, while others just changed destination, such as the Military Home.
The main suspect is that this area will be used for building private residential buildings, since it is the most expensive area in the Albanian capital.
