Prime Minister’s office denied any mentioning of Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta in the court case against CEZ contracted company Dia Ltd. In a statement issued after calls from opposition for Meta’s involvement in what possibly could be the biggest corruption scheme, the government says OSHEE have never said that he has profited by any bank transfer.
The arbitration case against “DIA Ltd” comes after its’ director Kastriot Ismailaj, which won a debt collection contract with energy provision company CEZ during the Berisha government mandate. He is accused for fraud, but his company sued CEZ, now called OSHEE, and pretends a 130 million euro compensation from the state.
