Government changes decision for master degrees
29/10/2014 00:00
Two weeks after changing the admission quotas for universities, the government pulled back from this decision.
The Council of Ministers decided that the quota will increase from 6393 in October, to 7223. The government also withdrew from the average criteria.
The decision of October 15th said that applicants should have a higher average than 6 for being admitted in universities. But the newer decision says that theyu will be selected based on the criteria decided by the public institutions.
These criteria had caused discontent among students, who held protests in front of their faculties and asked to change them.
