Discussions for the new budget spurred debate between the majority and
the opposition. Former Minister Bode said that the pay raise is not
enough, but current Minister Arben Ahmetaj said this is the highest
raise ever made.
The current Minister of Finances said that 600.000 citizens will benefit in total by the rais, and they are not the only ones, since 600.000 others will benefit by a new medicament reimbursement scheme.
However, former Minister Ridvan Bode said that the categories in need are abandoned by the policies of this government. “This is the budget of failure, which shows that the program of this government is a fraud”, Bode said.
