A carpentry woorkshop in Gjirokaster was completely burned today by a
strong fire. The fire broke up around 16:00, when the workers were still
inside.
The flames swallowed the entire building in the Grapsh village, Dropull commune.
Two fire engines rushed to the scene for saving the few areas that were not damaged yet.
Police evacuated the workers who were trying to save the few things that had remained.
According to the preliminary investigation, the cause for this tragedy was an electric short circuit from one of the equipments.
