Merkel’s Envoy in Tirana, Michael Roth, gave a clear message for Albania in a press conference with the Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati: “The government must continue the reforms and the opposition must take its responsibilities”.
He said that Albania has the support of Germany, but before taking a decision, the Federal Government and the German Parliament need to make verifications for the achievements made with the reforms.
The Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, said that there are two steps that they need to follow rigorously: “Keeping the current pace with the reforms and deepen them even further.”
