Germany, according to the German MP of the CDU party, Johann Wadephul, is trying to convince France give the green light for opening Albania’s EU accession negotiations.
While Germany wants to hold a positive stance, France is still doubtful, same as the Netherlands.
The German Parliament will confirm this Thursday their stance about Albania’s EU accession negotiations.
“We hope we can convince our French friends”, said Waderphul, who, despite the critics for our country, is happy to have friendly contacts with Albania.
German MP Fleckenstein also criticized the current stance held by France, adding that the accession negotiations will not take days, but years, a time in which many more reforms can be achieved.
