German MP surprises Serbian politicians in Belgrade: “No EU without recognizing Kosovo”

Peter Beyer, German MP with Merkel’s party (CDU) was very direct during his visit in Belgrade and Prishtina.

He underlined that Berlin is against the border correction, but the most shocking declaration he gave in Serbia, was that the country will not join the EU without recognizing Kosovo.

Serbian media called this “a cold shower” for Belgrade, as no other politician has been this direct. The USA is also being more involved in this process, asking Serbia to recognize Kosovo.

Everyone thinks that Belgrade will keep insisting on correcting the borders between Serbia and Albania.
