Most of the German MPs are against border changes between Kosovo and Serbia, but there are some voices, according to Deutsche Welle, which would favor it.
After having a phone conversation with Donald Trump, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Berlin supports talks that will lead to an agreement, but changing borders could have a domino effect.
This is a stance by many others in her party, such as Peter Beyer and Josip Juratovic, respectively with the CDU and SPD.
The only voices in favor come from the extreme right wing party, AFD, which says for DW that the world has been waiting for 20 years, but no solution has been found so far. That’s why they support an agreement between both countries, even if it includes border change.
