German embassy: “No payment to asylum seekers”

The German embassy reacted after a news report circulated the media and
said that Germany would pay asylum seekers to return home.
The embassy explains that the information is wrong, and that this unique and limited offer was made for those who withdraw their asylum request until July 2th and leave Germany by August 14th. This offer is no more valid since July 24th and there will be no more recompenses in the future.
As for the accommodation, the German Embassy says the situation has deteriorated and the Lorrach Federa District has been forced to shelter them in gyms and tents.
