German CDU supports Democratic Party’s opposition action

The Christian Democratic Union of Germany and the Konrad Adenauer
Foundation expressed once again their support to the Democratic Party
and their action as opposition.
A Democratic Party press release states that the CDU-CSU held a meeting with Democratic Party MPs at the German Bundestag, supporting their action against the government and for the ways to come to power.
DP leader Lulzim Basha expressed his gratitude for the unreserved support of CDU, and said that the DP will engage to deepen cooperation in every direction.
A full electoral reform is listed among the main priorities of the Democratic Party, which will make possible guaranteeing free and fair votes, eliminating vote purchase and manipulation of citizens’ will.
Basha underlined that besides the daily battle against a bad governance, against crime and drug, DP will consolidate its own governing alternative with close support from European sister-parties, especially the CDU.
