The German ambassador in Albania, Carola Muller, declared during a visit
in Kukes that she has never heard miscast ballots to be considered as
valid.
“Since it is an open and unfinished process, I cannot give an opinion on the decisions that were made, but I want to emphasize once again that this is an Albanian process”, Muller declared.
According to her, what is happening in Albania has not happened in at least 200 world countries for which she has information.
Mrs. Muller declared that repeating Tirana elections would not be reasonable, because it would not remove the country from the deep political crisis.
“Everything must be resolved by the respective legal institutions. I think that the Election Code must be the reference point for the resolution of this situation. I think that it would not be reasonable repeating elections, because this would not remove the deep political crisis”, Muller underlined.
