The three generals that were dismissed by the Albanian President want to
return to their duties. They have filed a civil lawsuit at the Tirana
Court, asking the judiciary to suspend the decree of the Albanian
President, Bujar Nishani, and the order of the Defense Minister for
releasing them from duty.

The three file suits argue tat the judiciary should order their return at the Armed Forces, since, according to the Generals, the Presidential decree is not based on a law, and the order of Minister Imami is not according the military procedures.

The case of Sander Lleshi, the former Vice Chief of the General Staff will be tried by Judge Shkelqim Mustafa. Judge Enkelejda Metaliaj will take the case of General Dhori Spirollari, former Commander of the Air forces. Judge Fahrie Budo will continue with Abaz Lleshi, the other General and former Commander of Regional Support.

The three generals reacted after the Presidential decree, launching strong accusations against the Head of the Albanian State and the Minister of Defense, with the argument that their dismissal was illegal. They reported that the same method was used against dozens of other professional military officials.
