The General Prosecutor’s Office has made a summary regarding the election campaign and the vote of May 14, saying that 9 reports have been submitted by political subjects or institutions, in a total of 31 criminal reports.
6 people were arrested in the act, of which 2 in Saranda, 2 in Tirana and 2 in Vlora.
Following the administrative and procedural measures undertaken by the General Prosecutor to guarantee the normal functioning of the pre- and post-election period, the prosecution said that it is engaged in the investigation of criminal offences, within the competence of the jurisdiction.
The SPAK Special Prosecutor’s Office stated earlier that it received only 21 reports from political subjects, while the rest from private citizens. SPAK has admitted that in total it has received 41 investigative materials related to the elections, of which it has registered 19, and 16 are still in the verification process.
