From January, gas prices will increase with 12 ALL per liter. after the government decided to increase the circulation tax.
The circulation tax is currently 7 ALL per liter. The new government decision increases it wiith 10 ALL per liter. Adding the effect of the VAT, the final price increase is 12 ALL per liter.
Gas taxes have caused several political controversies during the years. For every liter, half of the price goes for taxes to the government. The circulation tax was established first in 2011, when the Dp remove dthe import tax in customs for used cars and replaced it with a fixed tax of 7 ALL per liter, but which now will go to 17 ALL per liter.
