“I asked him if he was Ibrahim. He confirmed and I immediately shot him
with my AK-47. He was working on his garden. His wife was some meters
away. I killed Ibrahim Mani for my friend, A.T, not for money. I wasn’t
paid for this murder. I knew him in prison. I stayed for some months in
prison and went out in early 2014”.
This declaration is part of the confession of Kristi Pine, 24, who has surprised investigators with his story. He has incriminated other people too, especially Alfred Qefalia, suspected of cooperating with the criminals who took the life of Ibrahim Mani, 50, on June 2014, in Shkoder. Prosecutors and the Police suspect that he is part of a criminal group that might has carried out other crimes, especially in Tirana.
The Court of Serious Crimes left Kristi Pina in prison for intentional murder for a criminal group. The same measure was given for another person, Aleksander Gore.
Aleksander Gore, 41, was mentioned during Pina’s confession. Another name confessed by the 24-year-old is that of Alfred Qefalia, who was arrested for other problems with justice. He was involved I the escape of Admir Tafili from the Drenova prison in November 2013.
Qefalia is one of the persons who has placed the explosive at the Budi Street, against businessman Armando Ceka, who was seriously wounded together with Julian Ceka and Artur Sharra.
Prosecutors say that Pina has confessed for another crime in Tirana, for the wounding of two brothers.
