Funds for the disabled used in campaign

The Minister of Social Welfare, Erion Veliaj, on the International Day of the Hearing Impaired, declared that this category will be paid and a special audit will inspect whatever has happened with these funds, so that those who are responsible can be brought to justice.

“During the electoral campaign there have been excessive abuses with the funds of disabled people. This is a financial massacre. I asked an immediate audit and whoever is responsible for this abuses, people who enjoy perfect health but abuse with such payments, will be legally prosecuted. We are contacting with the Ministry of Finances so that we can do everything possible for not leaving anyone in need without payment”, Veliaj declared.

The Minister of Education, Lindita Nikolla, promised access to the entire education system for this category, and the creation of other facilities.

“The full integration of people in need in the Albanian education system need all of our commitment to make them feel as every other Albanian citizen”, Nikolla declared.

Together with the integral law for disabled people, a status will pass soon even for the hearing impaired.
