A few minutes after receiving the prison measure, Governor Ardian
Fullani was transferred at the Prison 302 of Tirana, where he will stay
until the prison measure will be reviewed by the Court of Appeal.
Sources from the Prison Directory said for “Shqip” that Fullani has a
personal cell in the extraordinary safety section.
This is where the Governor will stay for the next weeks. He will not share his prison with anyone, since he might be subject to threats from other prisoners. Prison 302 has two sections, one with common security and one of high security. Fullani’s prison has people accused of thefts and criminal violations, who might be sentenced up to six years in prison. Sources from the Prison Directory confirm that the Governor had no specific request and he will be treated as all other inmates. He will be under constant watch by guards, due to his important post.
Same sources say that this is the same prison where are held other suspects for the theft, including Ardian Bitraj, the only one confessing the theft. He confirmed that he took advantage of his chief’s incompetence, Dorian Collaku, Head of the Emission Department.
