Fugitive executed in Elbasan

A 46-year-old man was executed by two unidentified persons while he was
parking his vehicle. The victim, Arben Ceta, was executed in the city of
Elbasan while the local police was looking for him.

One source said for Top Channel that the 46 year old was arrested for a robbery in November 2013, but the Court of First Instance in Elbasan had released him on probation.

But the Court of Appeal in Durres gacve an arrest measure. Ceta had escaped and his name entered the wanted list.

The investigators say that the 46-year-old was shot inside his car, which he had just parked in the 11 Nentori neighborhood, one of the most populated areas of the city. Two people got close to the car and executed him point blank with three bullets in the head, which caused his immediate death.

Police say that he had served 13 years in prison for a murder in 1997. In November 2013 he escaped another murder attempt while dining in a restaurant. The author was not arrested, because the police was unable to identify him. Inspectors say that they are looking into possible connections between the two cases.
