Gent Jakupi emigrated to England in 1998 and after working for 20 years in London, he decided to return to Albania but this time in a unique way.
Being nostalgic for the vehicles of the communist era, Jakupi bought a ZIL from the Russian army. After making the necessary repairs, he and the manager of his firm, rob Gerrish, decided to travel from London to Tirana with it, a total of 2600 kilometres.
He is expected to arrive in Tirana in a few days. In the meanwhile, Jakupi is making pictures in every country they went through.
