The French courts were expected to come up with a decision today
regarding Ramush Haradinaj, who was detained this January in France,
based on an international arrest order issued by Serbia.
“Indeksionline” in Kosovo writes that the decision is postponed to March 2nd.
Haradinaj’s lawyer, Arianit Koci, said he was convinced that the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo will be released by the French authorities.
“Serbia’s extradition request is completely unfounded and political”, he said.
“We must not forget that Alexandar Vucic used to be Minister of Information under Miloshevic’s rule, and Ivica Dacic was Spokesperson for the SPS Party”, reminded the lawyer of the former Kosovo Prime Minister.
